Abstract/Description
An interview with Andira Alves, who grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts and moved to the South End in 2012. She discusses attending Camp Hale as a child and her family's time living in Tent City Apartments. She was a leader in the I Am Harriet coalition to prevent the sale and demolition of the Harriet Tubman House and reflects on her organizing experience in that movement.
